Will Daybreak games shut down in 2 months?

Well... would you look at that? It's June 5th and the game is still running, DBG isn't shut down, and the Feds aren't knocking on anyone's door. Sad day for the trolls of the EQ2 world. Yet another missed "sunset" date... And here I thought all the basement detectives had figured out the money trail and the laundering schemes down to the exact origin. With all theses people who "no longer play the game", I figured the trolls would have had the time to get all this right. Trollololol

 

Welp, it's June 5. Wonder if the servers will be up after work...

 

I think they will, but time will tell when they do get shut down, for whatever reason. Though I think the main reason they will be shut down is due to human greed (as opposed to dwarvish greed *grins*). The Greedy Dwarf

The 5th of June is the cutoff date to come clean and get your house in order if you get done after this date it gets much more serious. So if you were an executive officer of a company you would want to be clear about small things like who bought your company

I still believe something will happen to Daybreak games in 2018 and they will no longer be a company... Just gotta wait and see.

 

Eh, may as well enjoy it while I can...done after this xpac anyway unless the next one shows me something really, really...OK who am I kidding, it's just going to be more of the same with different graphics.

 

Same graphics, just different colors. They'll also recycle old content cloaks.

I'm still waiting for the promised class rebalance that was supposed to happen after launch, because it got "delayed" at the actual launch of this expansion.

Balance is a state of perception with this game.
Whoever gets the biggest stick says it's balanced.
Whoever gets the short stick says it's not.

Class roles are too varied for proper balance. They would need to completely homogenize the classes to make proper balance.

Or at least make content that would fit the roles better....but that would never happen.
