    Rosy, sent you a PM.

I wonder who else got a warning... It's an efficient way to kill opposing views...

Update: we are at least 3 who got a warning for posts to the pack pony thread. I still suspect there may be more

This is why I'm not buying this expansion for the first time ever. TS and deco are the only things that keep me logging in once in a blue moon and I would get each expac to at least run through the TS sig questline and get new recipes. No reason to put more money into the game now.

    Well hell

The remedy and stat potions and new poison that are generally alchemist recipes have been moved to the status merchant in Coliseum of Valor.
The recipe are artisan, so any tradeskill class can make the. The recipes cost plat, expac currency and status.
Additionally, all of them require rares to craft

Plus the 3 new tinkering recipes are single make single use 1 hr buff items.. that cost 2+ rares, 400 fuel and 120 common mats per combine

Whoever is putting these things together has no bloody clue...

Huh, well I guess if they make everyone a crafter, then there's no need for crafter specific content!

HAY GAIS, I SOLVED THE PROBLEM!!!

Heh.. once you use the lvl 100 writ to get to lvl 101.. the lvl 100 writ is REMOVED from the NPC, leaving only lvl 99 writ and a lvl 110 writ.
Yes.. they made 1 writ per class for all of the lvl 101-110 lvls.. so we're crafting all of the writs out of the lvl 101 recipe books...

So, it's a level 110 writ using a level 101 recipe, for 10 levels - One writ per trade. That is... actually worse than I thought.

Add to that the carpenter recipes that should be Moonlight Enchantment additions, and the faction merchant furniture that costs status which should have been the carpenter recipes. Alchemist recipes turned Artisan and vendor purchasable...

I don't have enough words that aren't profanity to describe how I feel about this.

Almost tempted to say that it sounds like they don't have a clue about TS content... But that can't possibly be the case so I'll keep it to myself.

Ooops, did I say that out loud?!

I was really disappointed to see poisons and potions on the merchant, and then to see they were generic "artisan" was an added bummer.

My usual way to play at expansion start was to focus on tradeskill content to help myself, friends, and guildies. They then returned the favor by taking me along in instances for gear until we all reached parity. It was an awesome way to help each other and for everyone to be useful.

The tradeskill situation and the locking of instances behind faction and the signature line mean that I and many of the folks I play with are a lot less "push push push" with PoP...we play when we play. Not necessarily a bad thing, but for Daybreak it is: One day skipped easily becomes two and so on, which could lead to people fading away from the game entirely. :(

Heh.. I looked closer at the recipes on the status merchant... they're all only 3 uses.

Yup.. there are also rare no-trade crafting items dropping out of heroic zones...
A special crafting station that is only accessible when you finish a heroic zone..

So much of the progress that crafting made, allowing crafters to be CRAFTERS, not merely hirelings that adventurers have to put up with to get the gear the want, has been rolled back :(

I guess it just sucks if your main focus is tradeskiling, and you're a low level adventurer. Some of the 'stuff' they've done this expansion is too stupid for words.

My main is a provvie. I've logged back in now and got her to 110. I'm guessing most other provvies are also looking at the recipes and thinking wtf. After giving everyone else a 4 day start, I have discoed around 80% of the new recipes on HoF.

Back to crafting Monsoon, after 3 expansions it still seems better.
The new advanced provvie books are not in game yet.

They should of delayed the release of the expansion until it at least felt finished, what a bloody balls up.

Soo... I got one of the no-trade peices..
You examine it.. it gives you a recipe.. that requires 4 of the no-trade peices. and a 'quest' to find the items and craft the recipe.. and they have the... gall.. to put the quest in the tradeskill category
The items are no trade.. coming only out of heroic zones.. the recipe is no-commission... but the item is completley saleable.
That is 100% adventure content.. even though you have to combine the adventure only recipe, adventure only mats via TS rather then just giving the stuff to an NPC.

Given that they sorted this 'quest' in the TS category, I'd bet good money that the devs consider this 'tradeskill content'.

They probably do consider it tradeskill content. I consider them idiots.

But somehow they couldn't manage a tradeskill timeline... it certainly shows where the priorities are.

I'm betting the tradeskill line will be Quo related, considering the reward will be updating our ponies. I'm thinking I'll be sick to death of harvesting by the time they put it in.

And, oh boy, each recipe can only be crafted on a special hidden crafting station in a cleared heroic instance!
Example.. for the Flame planes.. Obsidian Core.. the lava in the pools right as you zone in go away while you're doing the instance. There is a crafting station (and some times a shiny) down there.. but only in heroic, not in solo

And the icing on the o_O cake.. all the of special crafting stations are forges.. and use candles as fuel..

Did they get really drunk and throw darts to create the tradeskill 'content' that made it into launch?
