Layoffs at DBG?

Pretty big layoff in Austin, TX. Austin was where many of the positions they were hiring for last year were posted.

So, DBG sells some portion or all of the eq ip to this this new guy for a mobile game, and ramps up the cash grabs with eq2 at least, as the pop continues to tank.

Shuts down a title in development and shows 60 to 70 people the door.

Yep. Bottom harvesting investing executed.

Even if I had cash to spend, I would never spend it at DBG after that move... laying people off before Christmas! But it is to be expected after all, in Soviet Russia you only got 2 presents your entire life... one for each parent you turned in! And I still say they are running DBG!

 

Doing this in December of all months... Just how mean are the people over at DBG HR?

 

Would have been nice to see Kander on the list, ain't gonna lie.
