All class specific shinies have different spawn points. I'll try my best to compile a list in this post for all 6 archetypes.

Different shinies can come from the same spawn point. So you can in theory just stand around and camp the 1 spot until u get the shiny that you need.

There are 6 shinies total. 3 come from Vesspir Isles and 3 from Eidolon Jungle. (Some reports of people getting 4 and 2)

To flesh this out a bit. Once you've turned in your class specific collection the expert will ask you to collect components and craft a rare ore (Illustrium or something? I forget the exact name).

You need a red dragon scale from Ragefire (must kill the x2 version, which requires you to have the quest Putting the Rage in Ragefire or have already completed it), spawned from the Pillars that appear at the end of ToV, CoE, SS, and DoV heroic instances. You need to have done the ToV sig line to see these pillars, or bring along someone who has to spawn them for you. The 10 swords from great conquests are from any of the other assorted mobs that come from the pillars. So you're looking at minimum of 11 heroic zones to get the 10 swords plus red dragon scale.

Buy the fuel from the froglok at the brewing station in the keep, then go to any forge to craft the ore.

Return to the expert and she'll send us to search for other rare components:

• re-crystallized glittervein ore
• mineral saturated steam
• a harnessed lightning bolt
• corrosive inhibiting metal oil
• an indestructible hammer
• veiled mist anvil

Re-crystallized Glittervein Ore:
Talk to the robot at /way -66.78 33.63 130.97 103.37 0.00 0.00 in Maldura (up the stairs). Must know tik-tok language. He says to return with a glittervein hammer and 10 glittervein ore.

Talk to Heccles Zaphardt at /way -191.95 -3.48 -34.52 114.32 0.00 0.00 to get the hammer. You must have 50k faction with Shields of Maldura or he'll tell you to buzz off. Buy the 10 glittervein ore from the broker. Go back and talk to the robot and he gives you a superheated ingot and tells you to throw it into a molten area for 60 seconds to make the recrystalized glittervein ore.

Go back out to Thalumbra, down at the bottom of the giant smelting tower at /way 379.02 87.47 355.66 170.92 0.00 0.00 and click in the lava. After 60 seconds a reward window will pop up with your recrystalized glittervein ore and update the quest.

Veiled Mist Anvil:
Kill Neh'Ashiir in Reavers Remnants [Heroic]. Anvil is in the chest that drops.

Mineral Saturated Steam:
You have to purchase 2 items from the faction vendors in The Hole (contested):

"a simple jar" - Rockshaper Jorgun - requires 10k faction with Guardians of the Underfoot (elemental side) - /way 22.12 83.11 -524.49 85.55 0.00 0.00

"a simple drinking straw" - Vlad the Bargainer - requires 10k faction with Caertaxian Legion (rat side) - /way -15, 101, -79

Once you have both, go to the water/pool area of the erudite side - /way 537, 121, -350 . When you get close Blart the Hot will spawn and attack you. At this time he's easy, can molo him (or even solo), just takes a while as he has a fair amount of hp. This may change in future to be a group fight, so watch out. Drops the mineral saturated steam and a piece of 14 resolve loot.

 

Corrosive Inhibiting Metal Oil

Clear Maldura: District of Ash (Heroic) - Oil can drop from final chest. NOT a guaranteed drop.

 

an indestructible hammer :

for this step you need :

- "Corrosive Inhibiting Metal Oil" from the step above.

- 1x "Everchurning Water" ( can be brought from the froglok vendor in The Keep )

- "Worker Sledgemallet" - Jarsath Wastes quest : I'd Hammer in the Morning

Prerequisite for the Worker Sledgemallet Timeline :

• At least 40k faction with the three factions The Sel'Nok Brigade (Faction), Clan Skleross (Faction) and Legion of Danak (Faction)
• Must complete Workin' the Docks quest from Commander Glish in Skyfire Mountains

Equip the "Worker Sledgemallet" and make it proc, you will be teleported into The Forge of Time and Space.

Use the forge :

 

I combined at the Forge and didnt get the update or the "an indestructable hammer" the items to forge it are gone.

- logging out and back in has made the "an indestructable hammer" appeared in my bags, however, the quest has not updated

There is currently a bug, where the forge appears in two zones. Please do not use the challenge duo zone to update the quest. Please use the Overthere hammer and have it proc. If you are on the correct step it will take you into The Forge of Ages, which is the ONLY place you can update the quest. We are currently fixing it for those who used the incorrect zone. Please do not delete the indestructible hammer if you have it.

 

Do you mean the last named chest? I have run this 5 times now and no luck. Thank god I can solo it

Harnessed Lightning Bolt:
Travel to Vesspyr Isles and talk to Fulmanatona at /way 1305, 370, -568
He tells you he used to have a lightning harness, but it was stolen from him by a worshipper of Karana.

The lightning thief is in the cave on the main island in Vesspyr, named Jolty Joeanne, at /way 66, 190, 77. Easy solo fight, kill her and loot the harness.

Return to Fulmanatona and he will tell you to go to the centre. Head to Nexus Core [Heroic] and kill the first boss. Once the bridges come back up, head to the west section and kill the Amalgam of Energy. Once dead a pillar will spawn behind him that you click to get your Harnessed Lightning Bolt.

Turn In:
Return to the expert, and then the captain. He instructs you to place the Veiled Mist Anvil (blue location by the brewer) and to craft the Electrified Steel Skin and Receptacle of Time and Space. He'll give you a recipe for each. Talk to the Brewer first and buy 6x super heating coal and the Plans: Receptacle of Time and Space. Also buy from the broker (or bring along) 1x shadowstone ore and 1x luclinite nodule.

Craft both items and return to the captain to complete Quest 2.
