difference between kill and death event

Does anyone know what the difference between the DEATH and KILL
event type is at

Are deaths records for players that aren't revived by a medic?

I believe that DEATH is when the character is killed and KILL is when the character kills someone else, meaning there would be both a DEATH and a KILL event for each time you die. This is because the results are generally expected to be queried relative to an individual character.

 

I believe for each DEATH event there is a matching KILL event. They are just events from the perspective of different characters as Ryekir pointed out.
