Spells and classes

A while back, spells had an element called "classes" which consisted of a key/value showing what classes could use a specific spell. This seem to have vanished. Any idea how to derive this info now without a lot of guessing?

It's worse than that, this data is actually pretty much unusable at this time. The damage scores are identical for (say) fusion 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6... It goes up (slightly) from Master III to Master IV, but I somehow doubt Master III Fusion has a base score of 80 - 134 damage...

I believe that is correct. First off I see the class, so I'm not sure why you are not:

As for the damage, I believe that is accurate. I'm not sure of all the calculations, but here is a breakdown from around 2 years ago, not sure how much has changed since:
*Note: They must be calculated in this order

    base damage calculation
weapon attacks add in dps and weapon multipliers
    spell and weapon tier multipliers
    attribute modifiers
base damage multipliers (Including any bonus from AA's)
    normalized damage ( +spell/ca/heal amounts )
    critical multiplier

But you get the idea, in-game damage is different for everyone who views any spell because the damage is calculated on the fly according to their stats.

Today, I see the classes. I wonder if this is a temporary flaw, or something was fixed in today's export. Every spell is marked as having changed. Hmm.

As for damage, since the damage is in text and pre-rendered, I suspect we'll always be showing very low damage values, not just base ones.

Hmm, I wonder if he would share those formula. I shall ask him :)

I too noticed yesterday that spells did not have Classes. You were not imagining things. Fortunately, spells get reexported with each Patch. We store all the AA spells and Character spells locally.

As for damage amounts, all items and spells are exported off a nearly-naked max level character. This has been a matter of debate and much anguish by Dedith of Dragon's Armory who seeks to display items *as equipped* on a character, which means reverse-engineering all of EQ2's combat math, AAs, etc., which he has largely done.
