I really want to thank all of you for participating in this forum and your ongoing interest in the DATA API.  We now have 21 different (non-SOE) handles registered for this forum!

    Dan,

I want to compliment you on the great way you're reaching out to the community with this project. It's been a huge blind spot in the game's history for a very long time, and a source of great frustration for those of us working in the field pre-REST.

The great communication and enthusiam you have generated here is extremely welcoming, and makes developing for the game data a pleasure. It is a critical aspect of the ongoing success, and without it, I don't think it would be experiencing a fraction of its current success.

But most of all, I'd like to commend the responsiveness you give here on the forum. You've made it clear that input is welcomed, given careful consideration, and provided prompt feedback if not outright implementation. People definitely want to participate when they're given the opportunity and are felt like they are being listened to. And that certainly seems to be the case here.

    Momentum, indeed!

Thank you so much for your kind words, Dark_Grue.  It means a lot...this effort has many people contributing to it and all of them will be happy to hear it!

I want to thank all those on this forum for the support you have given the API as well.  We couldn't do this without your input and willingness to help drive this to be a better product.

I also want to thank Dan and his team specifically for focusing on the delivery of the content, and not doing what I've seen done in the past with commercial orginizations -- giving themselves a built-in "edge" by providing almost all, but not enough, for people to devlop very rich content with their data.

I second everyone's opinion there.  For all intent and purposes, RosterMaster was a shelved project for me.  The new REST API and the active two-way dialogue we can have with Dan and Zoltaroth regarding the API certainly renewed my interest in the whole project, enough to make it a fun hobby to play with once more.

You keep giving us such toys, and you'll definitely find many of us willing to play with them. :)

This is seriously a breath of fresh air where this data is concerned! Thanks for all the hard work!
