Many strange failures lately

I've been getting a lot of failures of this type recently.  I can't tell if this is from a proxy, but re-trying the same query a bit later makes it work.  The odd part about this error is that it's a 404, but the HTTP status is not set to 404, so my script accepts it as a valid response, which it clearly is not.

This happens for item listing queries, as well as character listing queries, at random, and usually corrects itself moments later.

Do you have an example of the query that you used?

We did update our 404/500 pages to be better, but you should have only received this if it was an error.

Hmmm...if you see it, could you ping me again.

It might be occurring when we tweak something.  You *shouldn't* see it, but I guess there is a chance you might.

I just got 21 of them in a row about 2 minutes from the timestamp on this post.

We did just bounce the web frontend to change a configuration.  That happens pretty rarely, but that probably explains the 21 you just got.  Still looking for other reasons...
