Making icons

    On eq2mission.flame.org/adventure_classes I have a long list of all the spells I know of (and some abilities like the x2 debuff and mythical buff) and I have icons for most of them.  These icons are generated on my site rather than coming from the Sony database, mostly because the icons listed in spells look like this:
    <span><icon<span> <span>backdrop="<span>315"<span> <span>icon_heroic_op="<span>36"<span> <span>id="<span>227"/>

    How does one translate this into a spell icon with the correct background without doing on-the-fly compositing of these?
