Log Schema

    Greetings;

    I'm new to the forum and am glad I found it.

    I've been developing software for a little over 4 decades and is a passion of mine. I was truly surprised when I started out many years ago ... I could be paid well for it.

    To the point - is there a schema or parse rules for the logs created in EQ2?

    I don't believe the EQ2 log file format is something that has ever been fully documented, as new things are added all the time. Log files is not really part of the Data Feeds (Census) project, but I would check out Advanced Combat Tracker , RaidHub, GuildConnect, and any other tools out there that parse log files. Plus loot websites like LootDB and EQ2LoggerLinks have downloadable clients which grab loot out of log files and uploadt hem to their respective websites.

    Is there something particular you were looking for in log files?
