House decorating APIs

    I am interested in working with house decorating, that is, getting information about the selected object (ID, X, Y, Z, Pitch, Roll). Is this possible, and if so, where could I find information about relevant APIs?

    When you say "selected" I assume you mean while in-game.
    If that is the case then I think the layout editor is more along the lines of the tool you need.

    The Census API ( census.daybreakgames.com/ ) does not have the contents or details of a person's house.

    However as Alphonsus said, you can use the Load and Save buttons in the in-game Housing UI to load and save the contents as an INI file which you can then edit directly with Notepad, or load into Jesdyr's Layout Editor.
