filter data to only show characters whose id = X

    I'm was a little confused by your subject line and request, but I'm going to guess that you mean you are wanting to filter characters based on which World they are on.

    As we found out in this thread it's not possible to filter characters of a specific World because you cannot filter based on a resolve. The resolve adds data to your request *after* the filter has been applied.
