'Everquest II' is Experiencing Laggy Performance!

    Hello Friends,

    Please help to my query. I Recently installed 'Everquest II' online. But my performance is laggy. Can anyone suggest any advice? Thanks in advance.

    After posting here, I searched for information about this issue online and found some articles like [SPAM LINK DELETED] one. I followed solution #4 and was able to fix the issue but I think it is a temporary fix. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

    The solution for #4 is good while gaming, but on the off times it may use more electricity.

    Are you running the game on an SSD or on an HDD? Running it on an SSD will increase performance on zone loading.

    Add the following option to your eq2.ini file (found in your game directory)to remove the fake loading resources 10 second wait time.
    cl_load_ui_resources_timeout 0
