He’s doing a bang up job of single-handedly destroying the General forum, for sure. It’s amazing how activity levels drop following one of his outbursts.

 

I'd love to see a RaR thread on him. Would be awesome. I think he'd stay awake 24/7 just to respond to it.

The " Rate a R- Tard" or " Name the Shame" section on eq2flames was tough. I can't imagine Bugalito Loveless would have "survived" him being named there publicly.

I read this morning the last pages of the F2P restriction Thread and he really is taking on the whole OF Community now.

Seeing and Reading his posts (unfortunately) i don't think he is dumb, he has mental issues that needs counseling. But the OF is the wrong place.

When he realized that his F2P Thread was to be locked he started quickly a new one :" I want to play as a Valkyrie in a game i actually don't play".

 

Yeah, he's got a desperate need for attention.

He's also needs to >appear< intelligent. He's not.

It takes no remarkable intellect to troll forums, just the willingness to be disruptive, insulting, abusive, and self-absorbed. He's getting away with it by hooking in those who don't know him, and because Dreamweaver is enabling it. His trolls are manipulative, but they're not clever. They're obvious but DW is letting him run.

As far as intelligence is concerned, he's fond of throwing around language and concepts of which I happen to know a great deal, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that his understanding is at BEST superficial, and more typically completely ignorant. Think Wikipedia research and google searches.

Nope, he's a troll who wants people to believe he's smart which is just part of his gaming the forums and his tendency to lie while doing it.

Benito is trash in every respect.

I do believe that Bean Burrito possesses the spectacular ability to believe is own bullsh*t, and have no doubt he truly believes his cleverness and intellect are glorious.

I can't recall another instance where I've seen a person so blissfully immune to correction.

 

Ugh, I saw that. The worse part is, first he posted in a sub-forum, got a response from Ttobey, replied, and less than 10 minutes later, posts about it again in the General forum.

2 minutes later, ttobey responds with why they wouldn't be an option for a playable race (namely, doesn't use a player character skeleton.)

The infestation is spreading.

 

We're gonna have to disagree on his abilities as a troll. Trolling, which I'm sure you know, is just an old fishing term and he catches fish every time he posts. Even some of the older, wiser fish who oughta know better. I can go weeks, months, w/o responding to him but he always manages to suck me in at the end. I do think it's more the fact that he is allowed to just run that net, all day and night, more than any intelligence to what he is saying. The last time I had someone like that was Lebie Warlock on Caster's Realm and that was 15+ years ago. Lebie, or as we called him, Liebe, was dumb as a box of rocks too but he was artfully dumb.

When someone refuses to steer of their course no matter how many signs that the road is going to end because they believe that the signs don't apply to them then there is an amount of respect for the absurdity that I have for them. Just the absurdity, not them personally. It's why I don't talk about anything other than, well, fishing with my father. Even though I paid his mortgage off 20 years early, pay for his car, car insurance, buy his food, and keep spending money in the bank for him I'm still a liberal democrat who's ruining the country.

I honestly do not go to the OF as much because of him. The Ring around the Rosie conversations make my soul ache.

 

Yeah, the only time he'll hook me in these days is when insults or smears someone.

In those cases, I'll chime in and reverse it on him, but I know he needs to have the last word. I just leave it knowing I've said enough.

 

I can, though it involved the mental health and criminal justice systems. That isn't meant as an aspersion, I mean it literally.

 

What if we stop giving Benito the time of day on these forums since he's still finding a way to dominate the discussion even while banned.

I know he still reads these forums even though he can't respond., so I know he's both drawn here because we're talking about him, and enraged by the fact he can't do anything about it.

Childish? Sure. Is it fun to turn his bullshit around on him? Yep.

 

Nah, what he does with people like us is misrepresent or lie about something that involves us so we feel compelled to respond and defend ourselves or others.

That's different from biting on his bullshit theories and walking jnto his swamp of nonsense arguments. We've all learned our lessons about that.

The public smears and personal attacks however deserve a response. It's kind of just a thing with me, but I'm not going to let someone like him hurt other people.

The good news is, liars are easy to handle.

 

Speaking for myself, I find the constant attention granted to him here almost as offputting as reading his actual posts on the official forums. I guess if you're just bored and looking for something to discuss to pass the time in the same way people just keep playing EQ2 due to having nothing better to do, have at it.
