On the Great Divide fight, yes, the mobs can be charmed. Have a troub or chanter charm one and pull it AWAY from the other two. It worked for us, not sure of the true mechanics of the fight as we were just shooting from the hip on that one.

Druid charm works too (since most druids spec for T-shell and the charm is required to get there). And while I had to keep recharming him, leaving him in the fight (and having him 'help') meant he was down to less then 20% health when the other two were dead.

Inire Not really an evil duck, just misunderstood.

just a quick note how annoyed i am right now that the quest was supposed to be

    "no feathers! just following clues"

but there are no real clues... even the hints are very random.

and you can only find out where your shinies are by looking at the FEATHER on the map...

    don't mind me...

I can attest the fight in Great Divide is a nasty one. I was totally not ready for that kind of damage.

I assembled a group with Paly, defiler, myself (Temp), Illy, conj and coercer. Right out of the gate, we had 3 group members on the carpet. Immac rez and hit all my group ae heals to get back in the game. From there, it was just a long battle, but we took them down. Heal parse was nuts because we didn't charm or mez. Not for the faint of heart.

When I finally got a good troub to charm one of the mobs in GD I had him charm the Frenzied mob from first set....as he was the one that seemed to be doing the porting...worked like a charm.

Druid Charm also works really well for the Great Divide fight, charmed any one of the adds and it one shots the other 2 for 3 billion hitpoints each...not sure if that's intended but after that you release the charmed one, kill it and voila, you got an update. Charm works on the other fight as well, they don't one shot each other like the other fight, but it takes a huge chunk off their life if you cycle the charm on all 3, keep one charmed after that and kill them.

Things to consider. Scouts collection were purple shiny that only they could see. Even though it is possible ours are similar to theirs, they do not have to be. Ours are all some form of damaged prayer books, could be !'s or even clickable items, we cannot rule that out yet. It looks like each class has its own collection. Even though KA is the group our collections are in, I do not think we are limited to new zones. Reading the hint again it seems that our collection is the key we need to access where the future is bound... surrounded by phantoms of the past. Our collections could be anywhere not limited to where ghost are. The item we need the key for most likely is.

Also the fighters had to be in off stance to see their updates. So switching to healstance could be something to try.

Except fighters get their stances by default, priests don't. Doesn't mean they won't do something... silly... like that, but here's hoping seeing updates doesn't require a specific AA spec

I have read on Discord, that the Great Divide fight can no longer be charmed after recent patch. Can anyone confirm or deny that ? Can't do it myself because I am past.

Something to consider ... our collection and the fighter collection are listed as part of the KA collection series.

However The scout's collection is listed as Signature collection. Their collection was found in old kunark zones. I do not think this is coincidence. Will dig into mage specific collection to see if it is also in old zones and labeled as Signature collection.

I think this points to both fighters and preist collection being in new zones associated with KA ... including our hidden caves... OF and any of the instances.

That was me who said it. I took a stacked group and we were unable to charm any of the 3 mobs - kept getting "Will not work on this target" each time. On our last pull we pushed over 25m HPS and we were not able to get the move under 70%

This is either broken beyond belief and you had to charm as a work around to it, or there is something that is being completely missed. We pulled for over an hour and never saw the mobs below 70%. The devs need to look into this fight bigtime. We have taken down T2 mobs and cleared all T1 raid mobs as well as blowing through instances amd this is virtually impossible to kill.

Very strange, not sure why you are having issues with it, we killed it with a four man group today. Just need to keep them even or they keep healing.

Keeping mobs even makes the fight into 10+ minutes, and that assumes that you don't get a clustered set of procs which trigger the heal.

My group pulled it for about 20 minutes and the hp threshold is just plain ridiculous. Within 5% should be extended to within 10% to make it even remotely reasonable for the average group.

Now that you cannot cheese the fight with charms, you basically have to bring multiple etherealists and have them focus kill the healer. That's some super shitty design.

In reference to the mobs in Great Divide. The Moors mobs I have no idea about due to being stuck on the ones in GD
