I do not believe it is a balanced healing mechanic. If that was it they would not heal to full. Kragis healed them to full even with Chirgon up or down. It might need singular focus on kragis. When I completed this I had two of the top dpsers on the server help and when we got close to 75% they popped their huge spike dps BL chain... Sin double assassintate and the rest of us used our Ascension spells .... I do not think that is the way it is meant to work. If so many will not get the epic.

Also to talk to Ward Glanral You do not need Max Survival Accord Faction. I had 43k, but I think all you need to have completed is the HQ. Before I completed it he would not give me the test. As soon as I turned it in He would. I also had the bare min Faction with Gukan 20k to buy the item.

 

We burned Chirgon down w/o issue. But had the health issue I noted with the other two even after he was dead.

 

Is there some trick to the fight with the mobs spawned from the bowl? Between their hitting hard, porting, and stunning, seems to be pretty difficult.

 

Bring 2 healers.

 

It looks like there is a pre-req to get Osh to speak with you. Doing the DoV quests for the othmir, both in GD and EW isn't enough. The priest I'm working with is getting chat from Osh relating to Cobalt Scar, so it looks like part of that timeline (probably the bits related to the Othmir) are pre-reqs for getting the update from Osh to progress the quest after you buy the bowl.

 

Looking at the parse from the 28-minute fight, it appears that Kragis frequently (approx 45-50 seconds apart, might be blockable) heals himself for about 2.6 billion, or when we switched to burn down Chirgon, Chirgon for about 2.1 billion. Every time there was a full heal it got all of them still alive, for a minimum of 11 billion on Tarkas.

Next attempt I want to try without damaging Tarkas noticeably until Kragis is down (so less than 10 billion total to Tarkas while doing 60+ billion to Kragis

 

Yes, you need Othmir questline completed in Cobalt Scar for Osh to talk to you

 

We tried that, he heals up regardless, far as we can tell. The guess is the big-heal is timed at roughly 4 minutes per go, and the heal on tarkas without the full heal takes him to whatever kragis is at, far as I can guess. I think the balanced burn is the right idea, though, given that when we tried that the heal on tarkas to kragis' hp didn't happen, but otherwise it did. And honestly a straight burn through that would mean it'd need crazy good dps and that seems a little much for the epic they expect many people to complete.

 

K heals up to full as well. It's not just bring T up to K. We had K down to 43% and he healed to full.

 

are there any buffs on the mobs? proximity heals? some sort of emotes or zone wide announces?

 

I said he has two different heals. We had one take him to where ever K was, one take them to full.

We killed the mage mob, beat the healer mob down about half then our troub charmed that mob. We were able to dps the tank mob almost dead before the healer came out of the charm at very low health and we were able to kill it.

 

At the start it says T is buffed by being near C and K watches T's health. That's why we figured C K T.. but no joy. K does ALL the healing.

 

We had a troub charm Kragis and send him into the fight, he went down pretty fast, then we just killed the other two. Fight took about 15 minutes with @240 million groupwide DPS. You need to clear the detriments as soon as they pop because they tick pretty hard. Other than that, easy fight. Also used two healers.

 

Is there a viable tactic for the mobs in Great Divide?
We tried with tank, 2 dps and 3 healer, one of them shammy, and we went down within 15 seconds.
We were aware, that the dots need to be cured asap, but the mobs teleport the group around and out of cure range.

Are they mezable or charmable?

 

We did it with 2 healers, 1 tank and 3 dps without issue. We found that pulling back to the stone worked best. Everybody always run back to the stone when ported.. Kept wards and Hots rolling (had mystic, warden, SK, wiz, swash and brig)

On a side note, the same group was finally able to take out the three assassins using the charm method suggested.. the useless druid charm on the way to T-shell actually got used

 

Yeah the fight in GD with the bowl my group got blown apart even with wards....and yet I solo healed quite a few updates for the other archtypes....will have to bring the A-team for that 1.

 

We had two mystics in our group, a conj, ranger, pally, and coercer. It was a wicked nasty fight on those mobs up in the snow.

 

Two of the same exact healer adds nothing to healing over 1 since none of the buffs stack and the wards knock eachother off....

 

I understand that, but both of us were on the same step in the same guild. Easier to get it done once then do it twice.
