in lavastorm there seems like a newer lava pool with 107 trash flying about at -170, 7, -329, they are killable but haven't dropped anything note worthy yet

 

My main char is ascension level 2, so i can only throw in some ideas.

• Several days ago there was a message of the day saying something about switching npc say off could be an error of epic dimensions.
• There are tons of goblins in Obulus
• I heard a rumor about epic 2 has something to do with blue shiny collection. In Runyeye: The Gathering there is a normal shiny collection named "Relics oft he Goblin Hero". Result is "a Gigglegibber Courting Hat". With that hat you can see the blue shinies. Name oft he collection is "Standards of the Goblin Tribes". Result is "xxx (class specific) of the Ankexfen". The text on these items is:
  This is an Ancient relic from the First War of the Gods. These symbols were worn by the Ankexfen, the early goblins that supported Rallos Zek, to greatly enhance their power. Not many Ankexfen relics are known to exist. It is believed that any that are around today were actually retrieved from the battlegrounds of the Plane of Earth.

Maybe if you wear hat and xxx (class specific) of the Ankexfen AND you are visiting the goblins, you can hear some hints.

 

The sealed door at the academy of science in Freeport has language involved it seems, although i'm not sure what language it is.
Also tried having my scout friend click and he was not able to.

Have you guys tried using "Unliving Eyes" or "Dartain's Dead Sight" etc while searching?
Never played other mages than Necro so I might be grasping at straws here.

 

Have you thought of checking the Phantom Sea, the Ossuary as well as the area around it are full of some pretty sick necrolike activity.

Could the Avatar of your God have a spot? Maybe with what happened to Inny they will try to make us more powerful to stop such things. The Queen at the end of the quest talks about planar power. Kander said he checked 4 of the starters and it was working fine, maybe that was all that was up.

 

Checked tower of the four winds in Mara, nothing of interest.

 

Checked mage area in neriak, nothing clickable but the people upstairs were having an interesting conversation about a scroll and innoruuk.

 

Noticed that as well when checking Neriak, waited a few mins to see if it would trigger anything but it just kept looping the same convo

Might be ralated, NPC named in Fens of Nathsar (615, 17, 1361) named "Mujahid Mukhtaar" when trying to speak to him he says: "I am much too busy contemplating my necromantic studies... Please leave me alone"

 

So here's what I'm thinking:
The starter for the epic 2.0 is a hidden quest much like the hidden quest in the Spire heroic zones for the mount. Now from what Nune has in his post we have a door that can only be clicked by mages in Freeport at the mage area, and a book that can only be clicked by mages in Sundered frontier at Dartain's Eye. When these are clicked we get message that appear in two different but similiar colors. Back to the hidden quest in spire, when the items were clicked we got one of two colors, orange was good and red was bad. In this case I believe that the purplish color from the book in sf is the good color and the blueish color from the door is bad color. So we start at the book. I'm looking for an item or items that will link the book in sf with the sealed door in Freeport.

 

Does anyone else find it odd that you still have access to the Arcanne SPire: Revealed zone? This is the one that's part of the adventure signature series...For most zones of this type, the option at the zone in entrance would go away.

I've gone in again several times but not found anything useful...at least not in the way of interacting.

The only thing out of place is the skeleton named Thaneni...which is the ghost we met in Thalumbra doing the ToT timeline...who had some sort of special arcane staff. We were sent to a weird instance zone to finish that little miniseries of quests.

 

And that's the line that broke the glaufaye's link with Zou Kunnen...

Oh heck, and Druzzil Ro (who crops up in that line) controls TIME.

 

So far all the "clues" have been pretty worthless. I think Kander was trolling us.
