I imagine there's a lot of desperate networking and resume distribution going on. Unless a miraculous acquisition takes place, DBG's execution date is on the calendar, after all.

Fyreflyte must really love working at DBG... He got laid off in 2015 too, but rehired then got the boot again in 2018.

Too bad, he was the only developer that wasnt a cocky idiot and actually responded on discord with dignity and tried to help out the players on Fallen Gate as much as he possible could. He was the guy who reworked all the items and while not perfect, its been a lot better than what it was on Stormhold.

Mooncast said everything would be running as normal, so did Kander on the forums, but just two days ago Kander said that RoK would be delayed on the TLE server by an unannounced amount of time. This is despite saying that the layoffs wouldnt hurt operations.

 

I hate to say this, but my hateful inner self demands it. Do you know how you can tell if Kander is lying? His lips are moving!

 

Dont worry, it's fine. My boy Epstein is doing an awesome job to keep the money afloat.
