it's ether about fooling the U.S government or correcting the record so they don't get sanctioned wrongly.

if you were looking into companies for Russian links for the government you might miss these edits and deletions they've been doing over the net, we play their games and have memories of what they've done so we can fact check the net for old data, but not someone from outside also remember the U.S government has other means of investigation, tax records for one, financial transactions as well.

the claim that DBG isn't owned by Columbus nova and the statements about the takeover being 'in error' wouldn't stand up to serious scrutiny.

i highly doubt that the numerous sources and references (including their now deleted public statement from their servers and stuff like their old EULA) are typo errors, it would take monumental incompetence of multiple people to have so many DBG-Columbus Nova references showing they are linked together over the net from official DBG or nova sources.

Anyone notice how friendly kander and gninja are on the forums all the sudden?

I was shocked to see Kander communicate in a normal human kind of way.

It's too bad it's too late. I don't think any one will ever trust their sincerity again, or at least those of us not trapped in a bubble. :p

Sadly just an act. Clearly they've been told to go the 'Everything is awesome, everything is cool when you're still part of the team' route. Business as usual, nothing impacted, everything is fine lalalalalalala.

Once that passes, back to cynical/obnoxious old ways from the usual members of the team.

Just Survive is so poorly developed, servers require a constant restart due to a set Global Limit... once hit, nobody can build, raid, etc. that uses server memory. This is why the game has so few zombies, and they have horribly broken AI... players alone are breaking the game just by building stuff. They set that limit because once passed, servers become highly unstable, which results in dupe exploits and the like.

Now there's no one even left to monitor and restart the servers. So far everyone except Pip (designer) is gone per Discord chat. The only other one that is unknown is MMODerelict (tech director) since he's been on vacation. Pip doesn't even know what's going on, but said he owes it to JS players to let them know what he finds out.

So the statement of continuing games as normal? Of course it's a blatant lie. JS is all but dead now, and it's so far from completion that it can't be shoved out of early access like Landmark.

Someone's woken up over there and cleaned it up. Or someone is lurking and was made aware of it here. /shrug

Either way the thread remnant has gone now. They have missed one or two, but I'm not mentioning where they are (they are quite subtle).

Some made a similar comment on MOP. They stopped mentioning where they found instances of CN being mentioned because they might have been helping figure out which "books to burn"

The most relevant order within these sanctions with respect to DBG is the wind down and severing component.

Be interesting to see if the company is sold or shuttered by the June deadline. That would be really tough to pull off, but maybe. Personally, I'm betting that will happen but over the next 6 to 8 months.

I'm sure there are two groups watching the sites covering this: Executives and their loyal minions, and, employees who have figured out that said executives and minions will look them right in the eye and lie their asses off about what is really going on.

I am sure that any providers of services who are aware of what is going on are seeking legal assurances from DBG.

Their attempts to cover up is just as good as their coding skills and releasing polished games.

Everything will be fine.. I don't see where is the problem, if a company try to destroy any evidence. Right? Because the Americans don't have federal law on this arguments, like if you destroy (or try) evidence, it's like admitting guilt.

There should be some ppl they now the truth.

    First of all John Smedley.
If current DBG-Team is correct, JS is a liar (about which company SOE has acquired) or totally incompetent (he didn't recognized that not sold to CN).

Second: Turbine / Warner / Standing Stones
They should now, what company / person bought DDO and LOTRO.

Massively is now reporting on rumors that DBG has some kind of an ownership stake in the lotro/ddo dev.

Hard for me to believe that, but at this point, not gonna rule it out.

Oh good lord, I suppose next we'll learn the real cause of lag in the games was that the servers were being used for Bitcoin farming or some stupid crap like that. This is just DUMB. Daybreak deserves to go down in flames.
