What happens to your ascension experience if you switch classes?

So say I have my first ascension class up to level 5 somewhere around 30m xp and I want to know what would happen if I decide to switch to a new class. I know I'll have to start all over again at 0 xp in the new class but lets say I take that class all the way to level 10 earning 94m xp in the new class.

Then I switch back to my original first class (which I earned 30m xp in) is that class now level 7? Since the second class is suppose to require 1/2 xp as the first class and 30m puts it right middle of level 7.

   1. Level 9 to 10: 1.625 million XP needed to a 11.75 million XP total

 

I believe the way it was spelled out is that you get a 100% bonus on XP earned for each ascension level 10. So, any XP you earn on the original class after you switch back would be doubled. You do not get any increase on the XP already earned.
