User validation support?

    Can we get some support for some sort of OAuth log in? I would like to restrict certain action on my application to only specific members or only to outfit leaders.

    Or could we at least get some POST request over HTTPS to test if a username/password contain a character? Something like the Players site or the MobileUpLink does it.
