Just going to leave this here... I don't even know what to say about it.

 

Way to overpower the items and make them desireable! WOOT!

No idea, people linked them in chat. From what I gather you can only get them on live by finishing the heritage quest on Fallen Gate.

 

All of these very specific items have values based on their place in the time & the lore. Giving them slight adjustments for the tier they were made for is ok but when you change them like this it blows things totally out of proportion. It's like taking a sling shot & giving it the power to fire lasers. I lost interest in high level content because of values like these. I'll pass.

 

This is how they motivate people to go to the gimmick server and then they show their higher ups that the new TLE is working and desirable so they can setup more gimmick servers. I mean, I know this is obvious, but still.

 

Inheritance merchant by the loyalty merchants in Freeport/Qeynos apparently. Haven't looked myself since they took the servers down again

 

they're really milking older content now aren't they ... I'd love to go do those heritage quests for the umpteenth time on Fallen Gate, but, I'm too busy repeating other old time lines on live.

 

Some of these items are 4 times better than the current endgame gear you can obtain from raids on Stormhold.

I'm okay with gimmicky rewards, but people being 4 times stronger? Not so much.

 

It looks like they've mistakenly applied two-handed stats to the Shiny Brass Shield and forgotten them for the Shiny Brass Halberd:



(Just the first I noticed, haven't checked others yet. Reported to Fyreflyte (per Kander's suggestion) on Discord, /bugged in game, I'm guessing they are already on it.)

 

Or they applied them to the wrong item... why would a shield need 2-handed stats?

 

The people who complained about needing to do the Greenmist questline in order to go through KA are probably clawing their eyes out right now.

Sure it's worth it for me to head to FG and grind a new toon for these heritage items so my main can benefit from the many upgrades, but that's it. Just like PG, once I'm done I'm dropping it entirely.

 

I'm surprised there isn't a thread on forums about it. Or has Radarx already deleted it? Maybe I'm just blind.

Have to admit I'm waiting for Kander and the likes to jump ship before their names are well and truly mud. The quality of 'stuff' coming out lately is appalling, I'd be embarrassed. Isn't it time for Holly to appease the customers they have left, by writing some flowery crap in forums? Is she honestly good for anything else?

And are the items really worth it? Who knows what how stupid the statflation will be with the next expansion. Just a guess but with a 10 level increase, I'm thinking it will be huge.
