    Well, Star Citizen had a big reveal a couple of weeks ago (kickstarter game still in development) that was basically SOEmote. It sounded like some people thought it was this great new wonderful thing the company had created. But yes, I think SOE probably was ahead of their time, credit where credit is due. Although possibly the implementation in-game was bad -- I don't know, I personally never used it.

    Yeah, I thought it too, but no one really uses it? I think many find it kind of creepy like they are being watched while playing. :D

    This EQ2 feature became unavailable in-game a couple of weeks (or so) ago.
    So you're right, must not have been used.
