Geobotany Ugh

So this timed quest isn't bad minus the 100 plus clicks to get the dusts. Surely there is a better way! I do feel like if I do this to many times I'm going to get sore!

 

This timed quest is just awful almost as bad as goblin escort but with more annoying clickies... ugh.

 

I tend to click 2-4 stones to completion then fly up and knab all the dust. It is tedious, but soon as you get a few mythical items, and the nice fabled from the shadow quarts it makes up for it. I've gone though over 100 tynonium keys for a hand full of incarnadine, and I've only see 2 shadow quarts keys since launch.

 

That's why I do the Frillik Tide key quest, easiest and fastest of all the quests. 3-4mins of effort for 8 keys x 3 characters!

 

Yeah, I've yet to get a good reward.. I'm keeping trying LOL

 

One thing that can help is to use the "default action" key ("f" on default UI). It can be easier to hover your cursor over the <whatever> with one hand and taptaptap the "f" key with the other; I can spam the key faster than I can click, and it's less strain on a single hand. Also useful when trying to knock the slavers off their mounts: auto-run/fly in the same direction, make course corrections with mouse as needed, and tap "f" to knock them off when they get near.

(That's what got me through umpteen iterations of the seagull timed quest, and it's habit now with doors and harvests and NPCs and the like.)
