I find Alphonsus's idea that its intended a bit misleading. I personally think it's a mistake on the part of our devs OR they are planning to phase out purple adorns next expac like they did to yellow and red.

Not to be a pessimistic ogre, but right now I honestly don't know what is an unintentional bug and what is a deliberate direction change. The best I feel I can do is report it and hope we can get some official clarification.

For this one, I'm hoping it's a bug. It would suck for them to introduce the purple rune sets with KA and then make them completely obsolete one (or less than one) expansion later.

EDIT: I have to agree with Alphonsus on this one, it feels like a "you have to make a choice" deal, just like with Relic gear.
