Has anyone that has gotten stuck on the first cache in BB been able to figure out what is needed to advance. I got one update, nothing else was clickable and then couldnt advance to the next on in GD. Have all languages done. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

The Water is in TT near the waterfall when, getting the flask for it you need to fly around the little islands and kill A Delicious Flys to get a fly carcass. Harvest 5 of them and you go to the general merchant frog and he will sell you a chill flask for 504 plat and those 5 flys then click the waterfall at the bottom to harvest it.

 

Barley is in Thalumba. Go to /way -603 31 -496 and click the bush there. Spawns a nasty mob you have to kill. Lots of stifles/disarms and slowly breaks your weapons so bring repair kits and a group.

Once you loot the barley, take it to the keep and use the smoke stack looking thingiemabob to turn it into the Halcyon Malt.

 

Unbelievably Sweet Sugar - clear the fractured hive [Heroic] in Vesspyr isles and talk to the caged queen at the end, she'll give you some royal jelly. Take this to the keep and click the mixing bowl on the table in the kitchen to get the sugar.

Talk to the Quartermaster again, he'll give you a recipe. Talk to the froglok in the kitchen to buy the fuel, and buy a Shadebark off the broker and do the combine.

 

After I got my initiation shield, equipped it, talked to every NPC and none of them are giving me a new quest.
The Captain says: "I don't feel you are powerful enough to precede friend."
Is there another prereq for this?

 

I believe you need Ascension level 6 before you can continue, at least the priests do..

 

an idea for the initiatiation shield ?

 

I have crafted the ale and now the quest says 'I need a shield to trade for my initiates shield'... what am i supposed to trade for it?

 

Still stuck unfortunately.

 

You should be able to click the chest, then the flour bag I think, scroll on the floor and then the one ones on the table. The next one will not become active until you click the first one.

 

That's what has been reported but sadly not what is happening for a small group of sad people. First one is clickable but then nothing. Want to reset instance but it's on a 7 day timer.

For myself after clicking the chest it took maybe a minute or so for the flour bag to become active, but it was a laggy day yesterday so I just chalked it up to that.

 

I've been trying to rule out quests not done with people who have it. No luck yet with Poxfiend L and L and two overland OF quests he hadn't done.

 

If you want you can check the quests on my Zerker Emoss he was able to click on everything and he does not have very many quests completed. That might help narrow it down.
