You didn't mention the only game in danger of closure. H1Z1: Just Survive.

H1Z1: King of the Kill is Daybreak's #1 earner by a huge factor. Then DCUO or PS2. Then EQ, then EQ2.

I have no perspective on DDO or LOTRO.

"H1Z1 is crazy profitable. EQ1 and EQ2 both are in the black by a large margin. Cutting the money pit that was EQN was smart, especially after so many years of failed development. " - Elidroth -- former EQ dev in Mar 27, 2016.

Any data on how much of current EQ2 revenue is attributable to subs, how much to expansion sales and how much to SC purchases?

I play LOTRO and I just saw that CN bought it ugh. I hope they don't kill it as I've been with it since day 1 and have a lifetime membership (something they sold a long time ago). Right now I'm playing EQ2 more but I go through periods of playing LOTRO and still log in daily to get gifts & tradeskill resources. The engine may be ancient but the lore is fantastic and the music breathtaking. The avatars are a bit awkward & housing needs work, but the overall graphics to me look better than EQ2 (excluding avatars). Also the skirmish mechanic is a lot of fun.

I also hope it's not EQ2 because I still play it more than any other online game. I take breaks now and then but always come back to it.

That it has mostly very negative reviews on Steam surprises me when you say its doing that well.

Columbus Nova didn't buy LOTRO, Daybreak Games is just publishing it (and DDO). Big, important difference.

Could be true... but then again, how long will it last.

Meh Feldon's forums won't let me link directly to the reviews.

Pretty sure this mystery FPS is an overwatch/paladins clone...

Its the FOTY for shooters apparently.
