Crafting is well and truely ****** in BoL

She's made it very clear, in her own way, that she is not happy with how things are currently. I know she gets a little flack but she genuinely is a huge help for the community more often than not. If they don't get this housing portal situation fixed post haste that will be a nail in the coffin. I think it's scheduled for Tuesday but let's be honest, they will break something else, or it, even more.

I think I hear bells tolling... and they ain't for a happily ever after.

 

If you have multiple elite housing portals in a house, using the green exit house house button only gives you 1 option, not all of them. I think. I could have it wrong, but this is my understanding.

 

If I had spare money, I would help donate to that EQ2 free server just starting out. I wish them good luck! And if they get it going soon, you MAY see me there, depending on if I get back to college soon or not.

 

They're completely busted and have been since the expac went live. Some of these decorators either have or help to maintain dozens and dozens of houses. It's one of the most upvoted bugs in the forums.

 

Oh, also, the EQ2 Reddit sub-reddit got hijacked over the weekend. Not that anybody really uses it but still, it's awful. Racial posts, porn posts, just a real **** show. Whoever did it has some serious issues.

If anyone is inferring to Benito then I seriously doubt it was him. He's got a niche and this wasn't it. I hope it was nobody involved in any of the conversations I've been a part of because it was absolute racist filth on top of the shitty porn.

 

That just... sucks. I spent the last 3? 4? something like that years I played mostly decorating and some RP.

I wasn't the most prolific, but I had 3 RP venues, a shop that was done as the result of RP (halflings that ran a spider farm), a fully decorated depot/crafting/travel hub, and 4 character houses/locations, plus several in the works when I quit.

To have the travel access jacked up would be... disheartening, to say the least.

 

I don't know anything about the reddit stuff. I have a reddit, but it's for the funnies and to post on r/sketchdaily.

As I understand it, though, in general reddit is a hive of scum and villainy.

 

Could be worse. Could be 4chan.

The EQ2 subreddit has had some nasty people in it for quite a while now. Well, I haven't bothered with it in a while, but there were at one time. It's anybody's guess who might have decided to mess with it. At different points anyone speaking less than positively about the game, the company, or the community might have been given cause.

 

I'm taking bets on how that works out.

 

There's not currently, or there wasn't this weekend, any actual moderators for the sub. I only really use Reddit for Askhistorians, the horror movie sub, and because I still get messages about a story I posted on No-Sleep like 5 years ago. I do subscribe to the EQ2/EQ1 subs tho so they stay on my front page. I haven't seen anything pop up today so maybe they got it under control. IDK. Reddit irritates me and it's either going to be it or IG that gets cut loose this year. I just really like the Ask Historians sub.

 

Housing zone crashes incoming.....

 

That's already happening. Plus the lag and crashes to desktops are wildin' out every weekend on all servers. Broker lag. People crash and come back with another toon's hotbars and CAs. Can't login at all. They keep changing **** w/o any need to or warning. Raids only dropping one piece of loot. Someone should just change the title of this post to EQ2 is well and truly ****ed in BoL instead of just crafting.

 

I don't want to be pessimistic (honest, not being sarcastic) but shouldn't they wait until -after- the patch goes live and they see the result of the fix before calling it resolved?

I ask this because whatever internal test environment they use has, historically, been wildly inaccurate compared to the actual live environment when it comes to results of patches, fixes and the like.
