Finally addressing Feldon's investigative journalist complex. He's no Bob Woodward.

 

Someone on the OF posted some sage advice: "Don't get into a battle of wits with someone who arrived unarmed". Seems to be somewhat appropriate for this situation....

 

I prefer: Never engage with a battle of wits who is half armed

I think I have come up with an adequate analogy, based on something Cast said.

It's like a child throwing a fit and banging his head repeatedly against the wall, then turning to the adult who's been telling him to stop before he hurts himself and screaming: Why are you hitting me?!

It's kind of... sad.

Let's face it, he's only actually here because he couldn't stand being placed on ignore by a few people on the OF so he had to follow to troll them.

 

I suspect Feldon also touched on a part of the reason he's attempting to start stuff here.

The new forum moderator doesn't allow the Bubble Gnomes to attack their detractors without moderation. Nor do they lock or delete threads/posts and ban posters who disagree with the narrative at the first hint of butthurt bubble gnome salty tears.

 

Yup.

He's got this pathological need to win (which reveals what he lacks). And once his manipulation skills break down, the next step would typically be to bait moderation (which he tried and failed to do). That's not an option here either, so when called out, he resorts to personal attacks and insults.

I suspect that many Bubble Gnomes have their identities so wrapped up within the game that criticism of it represents a threat to them personally.

In Benito's case, I don't think it has much to do with the game. I think it has every thing to do with a need to dominate others.

If course, I'm no psychologist, but one doesn't need a psy.d to spot a malignant narcissist. They portray themselves as both the hero and the victim, and to find them, all you have to do is follow the trail of destruction they leave in their wake.

I'd prefer to feel sorry for him, but he makes that impossible, so, no.

Y'all are giving this Dr. Thunder brand troll way way too much credit. Troll isn't even the right word. He's as bad at trolling as the dev team is at getting these public researchers to work properly. I check to see what he's said every 12 hours or so - that's terribly non-committal - and I like trolls.

He actually gets attention here unlike the official forums. That's our fault, myself included.

 

Feldon also suffers from a Robin Hood complex. He's literally liked that comment on the official forums and uses said avatar. That must make Fuli and Tekka his "Band of Merry female dogs."

 

He does like to edit.

And I take exception to such vile aspersions. I am NOT merry!
