Bug with URL Encoding / special characters

Census team,

This query used to work fine until a few days ago:

http://census.daybreakgames.com/s:example/json/get/dcuo:v1/character?name=Rïnzler&world_id=3

But now (or very recently) it stopped working - it returns nothing.

Curiously, a "starts with" query for the same name still works fine:

http://census.daybreakgames.com/s:example/json/get/dcuo:v1/character?name=^Rïnzler&world_id=3

This bug fix would be much appreciated by some of our users.

Still looking into it with the DB team. It appears to actually be a database issue rather than application code. I'll update this thread once we find a solution.
