With 1 in 100 persons going to jail it is going to be very difficult not to have contact in daily life with someone who has been a felon. Seems a little absurb that posting a comment is having contact with a felon. Just my opinion.

70 million Americans have a criminal record, including arrests — that’s one in three adults.

That's been SOP in Congress for years. They haven't passed a proper budget in more than a decade IIRC. What went to the American people is crumbs compared to what's headed out to wind up in oligarch bank accounts worldwide. It's disgusting.

Its been 20 years since the last time we actually had a legal and constitutionally mandated budget. In the 20 years since and the 20 years prior it had been burn baby burn on any debt bubble the market could dream up. 2000 was a big year. 2001 and on was meant to be so much bigger, but we were severely misled from 2001 on. Congress and the courts have continually failed to put the public interest above their own, or their sponsors own.

    Spare no expense...
It wasn't just something John Hammond said.... It ought to be the US Inc Congressional motto.

We need to return to a metal backed currency to eliminate inflation and work towards eliminating public and private debt. We need a balanced budget. To do that you cannot just spend endlessly, cuts also must be made. The spare no expense attitude needs to give way to reason and moderation.

PPP loans also, by and large, did not help Black and brown small business owners. For historical reasons, white business owners generally have a good to great relationship with their bank. For Black and brown business owners, their "bank" is usually friends and family. PPP was administrated entirely through existing banks, so if you had good connections with your bank, you got showered with money, no questions asked. Everyone else got table scraps as usual. Podcasts and Churches got PPP loans. What the f.

A bad idea to fix the results of another bad idea that came about because of yet another bad idea. Remind me again why I should ever trust government?
