Seems to have been moved out of Early Access finally and is being heavily promoted on Steam. Live steamers pushing it currently. Maybe this is what has been distracting CM and others ?

I suspect Just Survive will now be totally ignored.

I suspect both games will be largely ignored.

Meanwhile, Rift opens a premium server.

(Not apples to apples, I know, but interesting to see it happen and the juxtaposition of the two approaches.)

If this Vegas tournament thingie flops or doesn't generate new players, it's gonna be painful.

It will be and at the moment Fortnite is out marketing all of the Battle Royale games to steal the player base from PUBG and H1Z1 etc.

I wonder how many jobs depend on H1Z1 ?

It's a meme game genre. There's new games of this type every day. It's probably not going to pick up.

I mean it's not as bad as for whatever company runs Lawbreakers but...

It was the "Just Survive Team" that got laid off, the Battle Royal ones are still there I believe. Mind you they are probably pretty nervous currently.

I doubt it. H1Z1 has gone from 8,000 players logging in per week to 150,000 to 5,000 in the last 2 years. The well has dried up.
